At SASSY BOOKBINDING we offer a wide range of beginner friendly workshops, which you can choose to follow individually or all together - in a full beginner's course.
During these workshops you will:

Choose your own materials from a wide stock of cover papers, end papers, linnen, leather and threads.

Get full attention from me so you will learn properly, due to the limited available spaces.

Go home with a handmade book and a instruction booklet, so you can recreate the binding method at home and apply the technique with even some variations!

Get to know other bookbinding enthusiasts!
These workshops are perfect for bookbinding enthusiasts who like to immerse themselves into the basic techniques, which you can later apply in your further creative bookbinding ventures!
Beginners Course
A full course containing 3 beginner-friendly bookbinding techniques as listed below: Japanese, Longstitch and Coptic.
These 3 techniques build up in difficulty and are great canvasses to apply your own creative ideas on, each one of them distinct in it's own way. Within 3 Saturday's you'll transform from a caterpillar into a butterfly!

(instead of the full price of €300 for 3 separate workshops)
incl. BTW, materials and tools (and lunch).
Please note:
Within a few days after submitting your workshop choice, you will receive an email with an invoice.
Your reservation is only confirmed after the invoice is paid!
The workshop could be discontinued when the minimum of participants is not met, in that case you'll receive an email 24 hours in advance at the latest, and you'll receive a full refund.
You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours in advance in order to get a full refund.
After 48 hours in advance you can get a refund of 50%, no refund for a no-show.
Materials are included in the price, but you're always free to bring your own papers or cover materials if you have some funky ideas to apply to your book!
Basic tool kits are provided during the workshops, but feel free to bring your favourite tools such as your bone folder, knife or awl as well!
